Bill is a great local decorator. Having Bill redecorating our hall stairs and landing has been a real pleasure. From the outset Bill undertook an initial video survey to understand what we wanted. He gave us a firm fixed price and a fixed date when he could commence the works. He gave us advice on what primers, fillers etc to purchase up front, so he had the correct materials to commence the works. Bill's attention to detail was excellent. He was thorough, conscientious, friendly and always punctual. Before any finishing work began, Bill undertook extensive preparation work. This provided a much smoother quality final finish to both woodwork and wall paper. The patterned wall paper matched perfectly with very very few visible adjoining edges/lines. We would highly recommend Bill for all painting and re-decoration work - we will definitely be using his services again.

Bill very recently hung a difficult wallpaper in my bedroom which 2 previous decorators had not been able to do so to any standard. His work is outstanding and he is a perfectionist which I like. He genuinely cares about his work and his customers. He is pleasant, polite and he kept me updated. Nothing is too much trouble for Bill and I personally recommend him to anyone. It's his skill, expertise and high standards of his work that sets him apart and if I could give him more than 5 stars then I would. He can have all the painting work in my house.

We have been using Bill to decorate our current house and the previous house for around the past 15 years - he has very high standards and his work is always excellent but it's not just that - he turns up on time and stays until the job is completed, he's also very trustworthy and we've had no issues leaving him to decorate whilst we've gone away on holiday- highly recommend!

We have used Bill's services 4 times now over the period of a few years. He has done 6 rooms for us and they have all been to a very high quality. It's not just the quality of work that makes Bill so great, it's all the other stuff too. Like, turning up on time, being good at communicating, tidying up after himself and being respectful of your home. I cannot recommend him enough!
